A PARTNERS DESK An unusual Dresden late 18th century walnut partners pedestal desk, the frieze having one long and two short drawers on each side and bordered with an ebonised moulding. The top has a border of crossbanding framing an intricate narrow inlaid border, which in turn frames richly figured panels of walnut. The pedestals have doors which open to reveal on one side three drawers and shelves on the other. Throughout the walnut is of a most dramatic character.
